INHERITANCE

MUSE ON INHERITANCE

Please take your time to read this, the Bible says a wise man store up treasures for HIS children even to his third and fourth generation now treasure must not necessary be wealth or empires or Dynasties as the case maybe in as much as we can pass such wealth to our next generation, there are other things we can also pass on we will be looking at a hand full of them today. I will also brief you by explaining them a little because this writeup is self-explanatory.

Apart from the normal treasure we all think of when we hear the word Treasure.

Let us look at Some Rear Treasures:

➡ PEACE ⬅

Creating a PEACEFUL life for your children is also a treasure I was extremely vexed when I read the account of King Hezekiah in the Bible how can a father be happy that he will have peace in his life time so he doesn’t care if his “descendants” are at peace or not (come on)  that is WICKEDNESS people. In as much as we are humans we should live a peaceful life that will speak for us when we are Gone. What is the use creating conflicts here and there, the Bible says we should try our best to be at Peace with all men. Solomon understood this and he made peace with everybody that was in disagreement with his father. Peace creates an atmosphere of fast movement, when there is peace there is progress one can sleep with both eyes closed.

Moving on

➡ INTEGRITY ⬅

How I love this virtue it speaks very well, I was once told a story by somebody I respect a lot he said His father’s life style usually make’s way for him in so many ways his father was a Judge and his judgement At all times are just, his father had INTEGRITY when the father retired and had stop working for years,  his son applied for a program submitted everything he needed to submit on the day of the interview a man asked him his name and he told him and the next question from the man was are you the son of the retired Judge and he said yes do you know only that qualified him for what he was supposed to take a lot of stress to get, at another point this same retired judges son’s had a friend that was conspired against and he was arrested the police refused bail for his friend all manner of people tried to no avail the police said they don’t trust them but this man went to the station and only his father’s name gave his friend a bail, You see as little as it may look a life of integrity is a very wonderful gift to pass on,  the life of integrity lives very long on earth even when the individual that posses such virtue passes on the virtue does not die. ➡ HOSPITALITY ⬅

A man died and was buried for many years. He had two children with his wife, Due to his death his family had to relocate to a new town because they could not cope with the much trouble they were having concerning the wealth of the man.
They left everything and went to start a fresh life.
On a certain day there was a knock on their door who could that be the son pipped through the window it was a gentle man and a lady
The mother,

Asked who is that?
The son replied I don’t know but they seem Okey  to me.
They knock sounded again and the son opened the door after the greetings they came in.
Good day madam (Good Day).

Please we have being searching for you for days actually we found out about the demise of your husband so we decided to pay you a visit but found out that you had moved we said we must locate you
In a Surprised mood the woman ask Why the must if I may ask?
You may not know me so did your husband too but yet your husband did something remarkable for me.  When i was nothing,I was a job seeker and was desperately in need of a job so I can afford my bills I was walking by the way side looking worried and rejected all of a sudden a car packed and a man who happened to be your late husband came down he said his spirit didn’t let him drive pass me after seeing my working step and after much conversation he gave me a cheque and ask me to make do with it for the time been.
God helping me I went into business and became successful but I tried calling his number to no avail and I began to ask questions and I got you address,  I said I will repay back that act of kindness but now he is no more but nevertheless I will take care of you and your Children’s  well being from now on ward.
Tears dropping from the ladies eyes she began to SING she couldn’t help it.  From that very day their life was changed.
The kind act of the man was remembered when he was long gone and it helped his family that lost everything.

“The kindness you show today is not a waste it may not be given back to you immediately but trust me it will come back either to you or your generation”.

I don’t often tell stories but I had to try for the sake of explaining this point. Hope I Tried?

Hospitality is in so many forms it can be in showing LOVE, GOODNESS, KINDNESS etc like in the case of the above story kindness was in play. The Good Samaritan in the Bible is another example of hospitality, Feeding the poor is another example.  We never can tell who will be at the place to help us tomorrow so why not help those you can, remember is an inheritance you are passing on.

➡GOOD FRIENDSHIP⬅

I will use the case of David and Jonathan in the Bible to explain this point. Jonathan knowing fully well that he is next in line didn’t spoil his friendship with David because of the kingship position, he gave the throne to David just like that (I will talk about David and Jonathan in a future post we have a lot to learn from them). Back to today’s gist
David Because of the friendship he had with Jonathan decided to show kindness to Jonathan’s offspring just because of their friendship, sometimes we spoil some friendship that will help our generation yet unborn because of one thing or another I will kindly advise your friendship with people should be sincere not the Questionable type.

➡ GOOD REPUTATION ⬅

Create A Reputation that will speak for you and your generation don’t create a reputation that will speak against you and your generations yet unborn.
Read what Solomon Said.
If you have to choose between a good reputation and great wealth, choose a good reputation.
Proverbs 22:1 GNT

➡PRAYERS ⬅

Powerful inheritance to pass on, they say prayers are  seeds they are planted and from my findings what so ever prayer we plant we get it back either in Good or bad, please don’t because of anything wish somebody bad, let God do the judging.
When we store up prayers for our next generation trust me it will come to pass, some parents are the covering of their children they pray day and night for their children, you can as well pray for a good generation don’t say I don’t have anything to give because you don’t have wealth or the things of this world why don’t you pray blessings in you future generations so that they can go beyond what you couldn’t achieve.

➡ HONESTY  ⬅

It really pays I will just use a scripture here. I will talk fully on Honesty in the near future read this

⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇

Riches will do you no good on the day you face death, but honesty can save your life.  Honesty makes a good person’s life easier, but the wicked will cause their own downfall.
Proverbs 11:4‭-‬5 GNT

➡ CONCLUSION ⬅

I would end here but please and please be conscious about your life style. You can leave a castle of wealth for your generation but if your lifestyle is nothing to write home about then you have failed to an extend.
May God Help Us
Amen.

Have A Blessed Day

  1. You actually make it appear so easy together with your presentation but I to find this topic to
be actually one thing which I think I might never understand.

It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I am looking ahead for your next publish,
I’ll try to get the grasp of it! http://bit.ly/2lZh8pz

  2. My partner and I absolutely love your blog and find most of your post’s to be what precisely I’m
looking for. Do you offer guest writers to write
content for you personally? I wouldn’t mind composing a post or elaborating on many of the subjects you write regarding
    here. Again, awesome site! http://ow.ly/qTqn309WHJh
