COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS

It’s important that with every passing day, we learn to not just assume we know the things God has done but also count and name them one after another. This is because the human mind easily forgets or overlooks the things we have received by Grace. We quickly rather mention the things God has not done, showing ingratitude. The psalmist said

Psalms 103:1-5
[1]Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
[2]Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
[3]Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
[4]Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
[5]Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

This act of counting your blessings makes us more grateful.
So go into His presence today with a realisation of the things He has done not the things He is yet to do.
